History of Hunters
Willie Hunter set up Hunters in 1998 when he and one poor overworked secretary set up in a small basement office in Rutland Square, Edinburgh. Within 2 years the business and staff numbers had grown to such an extent that a move to our current offices on Morningside Road was required. It was only then, in the year 2000, that Hunters first properly entered the estate agency market and by 2005 only one other member firm in the ESPC sold more properties. How did we make such a dramatic impact on the Edinburgh market? A couple of very simple reasons...
Firstly, by employing experienced staff who were trained in the art of selling. Many of our staff started their working life in independent estate agency businesses where growing the business was vital and the emphasis was always on selling rather than just processing. Experience counts for a lot but ability to deal with clients in a friendly and professional manner is also paramount and at Hunters Residential our staff will go out of their way to help you move.
Secondly, by providing added value to our clients. When you choose your estate agent you are making an investment.A wise investment should make you money whilst a poor one, as we all know, can cost you dearly. That is why at Hunters Residential the emphasis is not on cost but on service. Ask yourself this - what is more important, the level of the fee or the level of the sale price and the security of a certain sale? From the initial contact, through the market appraisal stage, the preparation of quality Sales Particulars and the efficient handling of any enquiries about your property Hunters Residential staff will strive to ensure that you receive that added value.
Hunters Residential - the estate agents who WILL go the extra mile!
